Terms of service

Draft. Not yet reviewed by a lawyer.

Placeholder: this draft is for structure only and must be reviewed by a lawyer before launch.

1. The service

CozyGPU ("the app") is desktop software for macOS and Windows that runs open-weight image and video models on GPU infrastructure in the user's own RunPod account. The app is licensed, not sold.

2. License

A subscription ($20 per month or $200 per year) grants one person the right to run the app on one device at a time. You may move the license to another device by deactivating the previous one. You may not redistribute, resell, reverse engineer or circumvent the license check.

3. Third-party services

RunPod and xAI are separate services under their own terms and billing. You are responsible for the charges they bill to your accounts and for keeping your keys secure. CozyGPU does not control their availability, pricing or output.

4. Models and output

The models are open-weight models published by third parties under their own licenses, which you agree to when you use them. You are responsible for what you generate and how you use it.

5. Refunds and cancellation

There is no trial. If the app does not work on your machine, contact support@cozygpu.com within 14 days of your first payment for a refund of the license fee. Cancel at any time; the license remains active until the end of the paid period. RunPod and xAI charges are not refundable by CozyGPU.

6. Warranty and liability

The app is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, CozyGPU is not liable for indirect damages, lost data, or third-party charges. [Jurisdiction, governing law and liability cap to be set by counsel.]

7. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app and on this page.
