Checksums are published next to each release. Verify with shasum -a 256 on macOS or certutil -hashfile … SHA256 on Windows. Mac builds are signed and notarized; the Windows installer is signed.

Auto-updates
The app checks an update feed on launch and installs new versions in the background. A beta channel can be switched on in Settings.
